October 24-28, 2022

Post

Dating back to 1986, Red Ribbon Week country’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness campaign.  It is a time when schools across the nation come together to help spread the drug and alcohol-free message to their students and community.  This event started when drug traffickers in Mexico City murdered DEA Special Agent Enrique Camarena, known as Kiki, in 1985.  Since, the mission of Red Ribbon is to help citizens across the nation to come together and keep our children, families, and communities safe, healthy, and drug-free.  Below are some ways Camellia staff and students celebrated Red Ribbon Week!
