Camellia Journalism Club Newsletters
Ms. Mae Her created and advises a group of brainy intermediate students in the Journalism Club at Camellia Basic Elementary School and is proud to present the Camellia Paw Press, the official school’s newsletter. The club meets twice a week to learn about writing different types of articles, interviewing, and publishing a school newspaper. Students have written news, features, opinions, and entertainment articles to report news concerning both the school and wider community. The students work together to research, write, edit, and distribute a newsletter monthly to all families of Camellia to help keep the home-school community stay connected.
