E-mail blast

Happy August Camellia families!

I hope you all had a great summer break and were able to spend quality time with family and friends.

I am excited that we get to come back to school in-person this year. I really missed having all students on campus, the little noise in our halls, the laughter outside during recess, and watching students learn together in the classrooms. Although we get to come back in person, we will do so safely and following all guidelines set by Sacramento County Public Health and SCUSD. Everyone will be required to wear face coverings, students and staff will wash and sanitize hands frequently, require to stay home if COVID symptoms arise.

Next, all registered families will be mailed some important information for the start of this school year. Please mark your calendars for those important dates in my letter.

Kinder registration continues for this school year. You may pick up and drop off a registration packet at our office through September 10. Please call the office to find out if Camellia is your neighborhood school.

If you would like more information regarding our after school program or would like to apply, please visit youthdevelopmentscusd.org website. ASES, our after school program, is still accepting applications for 2021-22 school year for 1st through 6th grades.

If you need information regarding Assembly Bill 104 or Independent Study options, please visit https://learn.scusd.edu/ for information and the online application.

Please contact us if you have any questions Monday through Friday 8:00am-3:30pm.

Thank you, and I’ll see you all on Thursday, September 2 at 8:00am sharp for the first day of school!

Ms. McKelvey
